In the Media: FIREWELL Study on MSK Injuries in Firefighters

A recent FIREWELL publication on the high prevalence of painful sites and burden of musculoskeletal disorders in firefighters was featured in multiple media outlets.

This study was co-authored by Dr. Joy MacDermid (Western University & McMaster University), Dr. Kathryn Sinden (Lakehead University) and Mr. Robert D’Amico (Hamilton Professional Fire Fighters Association) and conducted in partnership with the Hamilton Professional Fire Fighters Association and the Hamilton Fire Department.
