Congratulations to Dr. Robin Campbell Bromhead (Dalhousie University, Supervisors: Drs. Dieleman and Karabanow) on successfully defending her PhD thesis, Sound the Siren: Exploring the relationship between the occupational environment and mental health and well-being of volunteer firefighters in rural Nova Scotia.
Dr. Campbell Bromhead will use her PhD research findings to develop new services and resources.
She recently discussed the new Nova Scotia Firefighter and Ground Search and Rescue Volunteer Assistance Program, a 2-year pilot program offered by Telus Health, with The Signal.
