RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY: Firefighters Accessing Care for Trauma (FACT) Project

A CIHR-funded research study, The Firefighters Accessing Care for Trauma (FACT) Project, is testing the efficacy of distance-delivered narrative exposure therapy (NET) in reducing post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms in firefighters. The 12 weekly NET sessions will be delivered by videoconference at no cost.

You may qualify for the FACT Project if you:
– Are a career/full-time or volunteer firefighter
– Live in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, or Ontario
– Living with PTSD or suspect you may have PTSD
